This agreement, established between you ("you", "your" or "User") and CarryLinks ("CarryLinks," "we," "us," or "our"), governs your utilization of CarryLinks Services. Your use of Services beyond the initial reading of this agreement signifies your legal acceptance and binding agreement to this Policy. By using the Services, you consent to this Policy and confirm that you are at least 13 years of age as stated in the "Age Requirement" section of the terms. By providing us with your Personal Information or other data, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of such data as described in this Policy. We do not authorize users under 13 years of age to use the Services. If you do not agree with this Policy or if you are under the required minimum age, you may not use the Services.

3. Collection of Information
Upon creating an account on CarryLinks, we gather Personal Information related to our Services. "Personal Information" in this context refers to data used for individual identification. During registration, we collect the user's first name, last name, email address, and a password (subject to hashing for enhanced security). Additionally, we capture the IP address, device details (such as computer/mobile, operating system, browser, and language preference), and identify the user's location based on the IP address. This information aids CarryLinks in enhancing and tailoring its Services to users.
Upon logging in, users can review their login history, offering a means to identify any potentially suspicious activities within their accounts. Users also have the option to voluntarily provide information such as date of birth, preferred language, location, mobile phone number, time zone, and gender through the Settings pages. While this information is optional, it contributes to the improvement and customization of CarryLinks' Services. You have the option to not provide some Personal Information, but this may prevent you from receiving certain Services. Personal Information also includes any financial account information Premium Users provide CarryLinks or our third-party payment application provider (Stripe) for billing purposes.
We do not knowingly request or collect Personal Information from users under the age of 13, nor do we intentionally market our Services to this age group. In the event that we discover the collection of Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete such data from our systems upon notification.
4. Use of Information
The Personal Information that CarryLinks collects and processes is utilized for legitimate purposes such as providing and improving our Services, ensuring security, and complying with legal obligations. For example, CarryLinks uses Personal Information to create User accounts; improve online operations; process transactions; provide customer service, and/or other communications or services, such as advertisements and search results that are customized to your interests or preferences; send account-related communications; and perform research and analysis aimed at improving our Services and technologies. Please note that CarryLinks may store any information you enter through the Services or otherwise provide to us, including without limitation Personal Information such as information contained in the "Contact Us" forms, user registration, user login, or subscriptions to services. You can unsubscribe from CarryLinks newsletter emails from the Settings page. Please note, however, that even by unsubscribing from newsletter emails, you may still receive transactional and administrative emails, such as emails related to your account.
5. Disclosure of Information
We may also disclose your Personal Information to third parties when we, in our good faith and sole discretion deem such disclosure reasonably necessary to (a) enforce or apply the terms and conditions of the Services, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (b) comply with legal or regulatory requirements or an enforceable government request, (c) protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or other third parties, (d) prevent a crime or protect national security, or (e) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues. CarryLinks reserves the right to transfer information (including your Personal Information) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of our company, or in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, liquidation or receivership of our business. You will be notified via e-mail or prominent notice on our website of any such change in ownership or control of your Personal Information.
6. Personal Information Discovery
When creating an account, the system creates a "User" page and a "Public" page for the user. The User page is completely private and is visible to the user only, while the Public page is, by default, visible to other users as well visitors. The Public page displays the user's first name, last name, user name, profile image, banner, and any links the user chose to make public. The user has the option to toggle the visibility of their Public page at any time. When a Public pages is hidden, it is visible to the user (owner) of the Public page only. Users can search for other users' Public pages via first name, last name, or user name. Users can also search for public links shared by other Users on CarryLinks. Hidden Public pages do not show in search results and are not suggested to other users.
7. Accessing and Updating Information
Users can update their Personal Information from the Settings page. At any time, users can backup their links from CarryLinks and remove voluntarily personal information they provided to CarryLinks. In addition, users can terminate their accounts. Please be aware that account deletion will also result in deletion of all the user's data (including links, profile image, and banners), and CarryLinks recommends that the user backs up their links before deleting their account. Despite account deletion, CarryLinks may retain some or all information for up to 60 days, or as long as necessary, to enforce our agreements and satisfy our legal, audit, and/or dispute resolution requirements before the data is fully removed from CarryLinks servers.
8. Cookies and Information Gathering Technologies
CarryLinks and our authorized service providers (e.g. AWS, Google Analytics, YouTube, Stripe) may collect Non-Personal Information (aggregate, non-individually identifiable, technical, or demographic information) to perform internal CarryLinks functions. At CarryLinks, we employ Google Analytics to track and analyze user and visitor interactions with our website. This third-party analytics service helps us understand user behavior, improve site functionality, and enhance your overall experience. Google Analytics may collect information such as IP addresses, device information, and browsing patterns. While this data assists us in optimizing our services, it is important to note that Google Analytics operates under its own terms of service and privacy policies. By using CarryLinks, you consent to the utilization of Google Analytics for analytical purposes. 9. Information Security
CarryLinks utilizes AWS services located in the United States of America. Therefore, CarryLinks transfers personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or the user's jurisdiction in compliance with GDPR. We utilizes reasonable information security measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the user's data. Our measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. For example, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology when data is transmitted over the Internet. We restrict administrative access as well as access to Personal Information to CarryLinks key personnel: employees, contractors, and service providers for whom that information is necessary to operate, develop, or improve our Services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. In the very unlikely event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, CarryLinks will promptly notify the relevant authorities and, if required, affected users.
